Rockport and Fulton are some of our regular towns, along with Lamar and Holiday Beach up the peninsula. A lot of homes here sit right on the water or on canals, which is beautiful and hard on an air conditioner.
Salt air corrodes outdoor coils and connections, and units on stands and platforms catch the wind and spray even more. Many homes here are second homes or rentals, too, and a system that quietly fails while nobody's there can mean a muggy, musty house when you come back.
